Shipping & Returns

Production time

All plates are printed, finished, and inspected by hand after your order is placed. Please allow 7–10 business days before your order ships. You will receive a tracking number by email the moment it leaves our workshop.

Domestic shipping (United States)

• Standard shipping (3–5 business days after dispatch) — $6.99 and up
• Express shipping (1–3 business days after dispatch) — $19.99
• Free standard shipping on orders over $70

Express shipping speeds up transit only — it does not shorten the production window.

International shipping

We currently ship to the United States and Canada. International orders ship via USPS First-Class International or Priority Mail International. Estimated transit is 10–21 business days depending on destination and customs clearance.

Import duties, taxes, and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in our shipping rates. We are not able to mark packages as "gifts" or under-declare their value.

Lost or damaged packages

If your order arrives damaged or is marked as delivered but not received, email us within 7 days of the delivery date at hello@cavettohouse.com with your order number and a photo. We will file a carrier claim and send a replacement at no charge.

Our policy

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery — no questions asked. Return shipping is free; we will send a prepaid label through your account.

If you are unsure about a finish before ordering, we recommend our finish sample set — 13 hand-finished chips shipped to you before you commit.

How to start a return

1. Log in to your account and go to Order history. Find the order and click Request return.
2. Select the items and reason, then submit. We will review and approve within one business day.
3. Once approved, a free prepaid return label will be emailed to you. Pack the item securely, attach the label, and drop it off with the carrier shown.
4. Your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving the item.

Items we cannot accept back

• Items that have been installed, painted, or otherwise modified
• Items returned without an approved return request
• Returns requested more than 14 days after the delivery date

Our policy

Orders can be cancelled within 1 hour of placement — before production begins. After that window, your plate enters the fabrication queue and cannot be stopped.

If you need to cancel within the hour, go to Order history in your account and click Request cancellation on the order. You can also email hello@cavettohouse.com immediately with your order number and we will cancel it manually if we catch it in time.

If the cancellation window has passed, you are still covered by our 14-day return policy once the order arrives.
