A stamped-steel plate is a part number. A Cavetto plate is designed — the same care given to a piece of furniture, applied to the thing your hand touches every day.
Matte, on purpose
Most printed plates use PLA — brittle, temperature-sensitive, and glossy enough to throw a hotspot under recessed lighting. We use IEMAI Matte PETG instead: it holds its shape near switches that run warm, resists yellowing, and scatters light rather than reflecting it.
At 3.5 mm the plate reads like architectural molding. Thinner — the 1.5 mm most stamped plates use — and the same shape would look like a sticker.

Parametric by design
Every plate is modeled in code, not sculpted by hand. That discipline is what lets a silhouette stay organic — soft, asymmetric, alive — while every screw hole still lands within a thousandth of a millimeter of the ANSI/NEMA datum underneath it.
Numbers, not vertices
A plate scales from 1-gang to multi-gang, toggle to Decora, by changing parameters in code — not by dragging points on a canvas. Every plate in a family shares the same underlying math.
Traced, not guessed
Organic silhouettes — Onda, Contour — are pulled from a reference photo with a ray-casting algorithm, calibrated to real device-mount spacing, then smoothed. The curve is measured, not eyeballed.
Checked, not assumed
Every export is verified for a watertight, manifold mesh before it ships — no hidden holes or inverted faces that would compromise the surface or the print.

Every finish is the same PETG, the same matte surface, the same tolerance — only the pigment changes. Specify by room with confidence that the hand-feel never does.
